I had known my whole life that there should be a prophet on the earth today, just as in the days of the Bible. When the sister missionaries knocked on my door and told me about Gordon B. Hinckley, I knew instantly that the church was true, and that Heavenly Father had been preparing me for that moment for my whole life.

He was the one who really inspired me to join the church! I loved how he always had a kind smile upon his face. He was funny and carefree! I remember one year I saw him in the Day’s of 49 parade. I was so excited! This was the first and last time I saw President Hinckley in person. He has spirit with him. There is no doubt about it! I love him with all my heart and soul!
