I am not LDS, but when I read some of the things this man said, and some of his beliefs, I know how wonderful he must have been. I read something today (a quote from him) that just gave me hope and strength.

One of the greatest men that ever lived, Ib4ll never foregt that day that they announced his death, no matter who you were, it was too difficult to hold back the tears. But the best part is that we know heb4s reunited with his wife and family and is doing a marvelous work now. How great this work is and how great an influence Gordon B. Hinckley left for us to follow! Always remember what is important everyone! God Be With You b4Til We Meet Again!

He had a testimony, that always touched my heart. He always, kept to simple basic principles, that formed the basis, of a much happier, outlook in life. Nothing was ever complicated,with him. He just. Knew. the importance of sticking, to the basics.
Husbands love your wives. Wives love your husbands. Be the best examples, towards. our children. Words of encouragement, never discouragement , laugh when things get of hand,, dont despair when the chips are down, think of it as a blessing. Move forward, holding onto that which will keep us truly happy. The lords way.. Or the highway.. He had a wonderful sense of humour, didnt he.
I miss him..

It fills my heart to see this site, and I wish I could have found it sooner. Much of my testimony in the church was predicated from the teachings of this man. I am only 19, and he was the prophet during my entire young life, but I feel as if I will never stop reading the powerful messages he has written. And I know for certain, the words of this man will never become irrelevant: he was truly a prophet of the living God. Thank you 🙂

Gordon B. Hinckley caused one of the most wonderful experiences to occur in my life. The day that he dedicated the San Antonio, Texas Temple was the day in my life that I can actually say that the “voice of God was herd like as if it were the sound of a ocean tide full of love.” There is nothing more profound than to here the voice of a loving God from his true and living Prophet. Thank You President for following the savior it truely covienced me that the Lord lives……..
